Position Details:

As part of the Clinical Administration team, you will report to the Senior Staff Associate. You will be supporting a team of clinicians providing administrative functions. Additionally, you will promote communication between clinicians and their patients and families.  This is an non-exempt, full-time, fully on-site position located in our San Mateo office. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.

You Will:

  • Provide a high-quality patient experience for families receiving care at Child Mind Institute.

  • Manage clinicians' calendars ensuring efficiency of clinical time and schedule appointments in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

  • Facilitate the flow of phone and email communication between clinicians and patients.

  • Collect initial patient information, support intake workflows, and coordinate services.

  • Check in patient appointments and support daily billing and practice workflows through the EMR system.

  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.

  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and strictly protect personal health information.

  • Provide support coverage for additional team members as needed.

  • Collaborate across teams to support patient care·       

  • Support day-to-day administrative and operational functions across the clinical practice.

  • Assist with additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support practice operations and patient care.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of administrative or office experience required.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Pay Range

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
