Lead the design and evolution of a scalable data analytics platform, focusing on data fusion, privacy features, and architecture to support the organization's goals.
The summary above was generated by AI

Antenna is the leading provider of data and analytics for subscription media services in the U.S. Antenna's standardized metrics, competitive benchmarks, syndicated insights, and market intelligence are trusted by some of the most recognized and respected brands across media and entertainment sectors. Using a proprietary AI-powered approach, Antenna connects subscription activities with real consumer viewership to provide services, studios, and creators with an unmatched, market-wide view of subscriber behaviors to better understand acquisition, retention, and engagement.

We're looking for a Staff Data Platform Architect to lead the evolution of our core data analytics platform. This role is a high–impact opportunity to design and build our “next generation” data foundation.  You will be designing a platform built to ingest and process multiple concurrent data sources, support complex data fusion, and serve as the backbone for both our analytics and data science modeling initiatives.

This is a senior, hands-on “player coach” role. You will be the chief designer and technical authority, translating our future growth goals into a tangible, modular architecture.  You will define and build the “master blueprint” and modern data stack that our globally distributed team will use to build world-class, scalable, and high quality data products.  This blueprint must incorporate cutting edge, privacy preserving technology (e.g. Clean Rooms, Secure Multi-Party Computation) to handle sensitive data.

If you are a systemic thinker who thrives on designing elegant solutions to complex data challenges ranging from data fusion to PII and ML platforms, we want to hear from you!

Antenna is a remote-first company, and we are looking for candidates who can work during US business hours. Preferably, you should be based in a US time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific). You will report to our VP of Engineering.

What You'll Do
  • Architect the “Next-Generation” Platform: You will audit our current GCP pipeline and design the ‘next-generation’ blueprint for a modular, scalable data platform capable of supporting Antenna’s ambitious growth goals.
  • Own the Stack: Act as the hands-on “chief designer” and technical authority for our modern data stack.
  • Solve Complex Data Fusion:  Design and systematize the architecture for complex, parallel data processing. You will design subsystems and collaborate on data models to solve advanced challenges like entity resolution and identity stitching.
  • Implement Privacy-First Design: Architect out platform to handle PII and security from the ground up. You will lead the design and implementation of Data Clean Room technologies and other privacy-preserving techniques.
  • Bridge Data Science to Production: Partner directly with data science to translate advanced behavior modeling and fusion needs into performant, reliable, and scalable production data models and architectures.
  • Govern & Enable:  Decompose your architecture into clear subsystems, data contracts, and development tasks.  You will define and enforce the standards that enable our remote-first engineering team to build with quality and velocity.
Who You Are
  • Experience: 10+ years in data-focused roles, with 5+ years in a senior architecture or principal-level role designing large-scale data platforms.
  • Pipeline Builder: A demonstrable track record of personally designing, building, and optimizing complex, large-scale data pipelines from the ground up.
  • Systemic Thinker: A proven ability to break down complex data problems into discrete, testable, and maintainable components.
  • Data Science & Business Acumen: Ability to partner directly with data science to translate modeling and fusion needs into scalable, performant architectural solutions that align with product goals.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional asynchronous communication skills for a remote team and a passion for data quality, testing and security (including PII).
  • Deep expertise in a major cloud ecosystem: Highly proficient in GCP or AWS and a modern data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Direct experience implementing data clean room technologies or differential privacy.
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience with Looker and designing optimised data models (LookML) to power BI.
  • Workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Cloud Composer)
  • Data governance, data cataloging, and data lineage.
  • Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for project management and technical documentation.
Compensation:

Total annual earnings range from $175,000 - $220,000. In addition, our incoming Staff Data Platform Architect is eligible for company equity. The final compensation will be determined after evaluating a candidate’s experience, skills, etc.
