  • Data Governance Program Design - Shape the structure and technical implementation of our data governance program, establishing the frameworks that ensure upstream teams produce trustworthy, well-managed data, including facilitating cross-team alignment on data ownership and stewardship for shared entities.
  • Tooling Evaluation & Strategy - Research, evaluate, and recommend SaaS and open-source solutions that support the operation of the data platform and data governance program. Own the selection and implementation process to ensure tools integrate seamlessly with our platform and workflows.
  • Technical Mentorship & Collaboration - Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship to data engineers while partnering with software engineering teams to understand their workflows and constraints. Educate engineers on data platform considerations and integrate their needs into platform design. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership - Work closely with data engineering, data science/modeling, analytics, and product teams to ensure the platform serves diverse use cases—from operational reporting to advanced analytics and ML workloads.
