As a Staff Engineer, Fullstack, you'll enhance social care services by developing web applications and APIs while leading complex projects integrating Uno Health with Findhelp's platform.

As a Staff Engineer, Fullstack on the Uno Health team, you will help shape the future of social care in America through integrating a sophisticated eligibility and enrollment service with the broader Findhelp Social Care platform. This is a genuinely full stack engineering role, with an opportunity to have a major impact in improving the lives of the most vulnerable Americans in all fifty states. You will participate in a variety of projects shipping software, with options to be a Tech Lead, across a python/django backend, typescript/react frontend with typescript/node lambdas, and Salesforce SFDX. You are joining at a very exciting time as we define and build the integration of Uno Health into the Findhelp Social Care Platform.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Act as a force multiplier by building production-ready web applications, APIs, and data pipelines that deliver measurable value to our seekers, and navigators both internal and external.
- Contribute key efforts in building integrations from Uno Health onto the Findhelp Social Care Platform.
- Tech Lead medium-sized projects that may be technically or organizationally complex, and intersect with multiple domains.
- Contribute to the next generation of our benefits eligibility and enrollment engine, as we work to integrate Community Engagement Requirements into the platform.
- Provide quality feedback in code reviews, technical design reviews, and willing to pair on coding tasks
- Data modeling complex seeker/navigator outreach interactions.
- Refactor legacy code as you create new features.
- Support go-to-market efforts by working closely with Uno Health product, sales, and customer support teams.
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams to bring new customers online in all fifty states.
- Develop expertise in benefits programs, state agencies administering them, and USDS teams working to improve them.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full stack application development
- Proficiency in Python and modern backend development frameworks such as Django, Django-Rest-Framework, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
- Proficiency in Typescript/Javascript and modern frontend frameworks including React, React-Query, Axios, and Redux.
- Bonus if you have hands-on experience with Typescript/Node based backends, including AWS Lambda runtimes.
- Salesforce experience is not required, but it’s a plus.
- Experience writing technical designs and breaking down complex features
- Experience with modern security, development methodologies, and platforms, like Gitlab/Github, and containerized workloads, OWASP, etc.
- Experience with both zero-to-one new product features, as well scaling and refining existing products.
- Familiarity with regulated domains such as healthcare or social care is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams outside of traditional technology roles.
- Committed to continuous learning, with the ability to stay current on contemporary development technologies and assess new tools, libraries, and approaches as business needs evolve.
