Job Duties and Responsibilities
Staff Engineer, Information Technology sought by DISH Wireless, LLC in Littleton, Colorado.
Design and implement advanced security architectures and solutions across various domains, including network security, cloud security, application security, identity and access management. Lead technical projects and initiatives to enhance the organization's security posture, including the evaluation and deployment of new security technologies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security engineering teams. Foster a culture of security excellence and knowledge sharing. Conduct in-depth security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify complex security weaknesses and develop effective mitigation strategies. Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and proactively recommend and implement security improvements.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security or closely related, plus 1 year of experience in designing code to ensure security compliance, or Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in same fields or closely related, plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience which includes 1 year of experience in designing code to ensure security compliance or any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. Require 1 year with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
  • Perimeter Infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
  • AWS, Azure or GCP security
  • Software Development like secure coding practices, security development lifecycle)
  • Application Security like web application security, vulnerability management)
  • Product Security

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $164,112.00/Year
Benefits
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, which may include a drug test.
