The RoleAs staff engineer, you would:
Build, test, and maintain production services. Our current stack uses TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres.
Implement, integrate, and modify smart contracts that experience hundreds of millions of dollars of volume.
Drive ambitious engineering initiatives (for example, realtime data indexing at scale) from inception to completion: specification, architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance.
3+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems, with high-quality and well-documented production code
3+ years of experience with Unix systems
Experience working with cloud infrastructure
Experience with AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor
Ability to make informed engineering decisions based on relevant business context
Demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity
Experience working for venture-funded startups
Knowledge of capital markets, acquired either through working in finance or trading stocks and/or crypto personally
Proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript
