The Data Marketplace team owns and operates LiveRamp's Data Marketplace. We develop applications that our customers use directly to acquire or monetize marketplace data, as well as APIs that enable integrations between LiveRamp's marketplace and other data platforms in the ecosystem.

LiveRamp seeks a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to drive the development of our agentic data marketplace. This platform will empower LiveRamp customers and external agents with access to premium third-party data, enabling them to construct high-quality audiences for marketing and advertising initiatives. 

You Will:
  • Design and develop frontend services, backend services and RESTful APIs using TypeScript, Python and Ruby.

  • Work on frontend components using React.js, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and design principles.

  • Develop scalable microservices and ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Partner and lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain coding standards.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and practices.
     

About You:
  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Java or Go, Spring Boot, and REST API development.

  • Experience with frontend technologies, particularly TypeScript, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns.

  • Proficiency with databases — MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or GitLab) and CI/CD tools.

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Exposure to Search and retrieval systems

  • Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
     

The approximate annual base compensation range is $152,500 to $229,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
