Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled DDI Engineer with deep expertise in Infoblox, BIND DNS, and enterprise-grade DNS/DHCP/IPAM solutions. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with F5 load balancers, cloud-native DNS platforms, and cybersecurity best practices to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our global network infrastructure.
Experience with other IPAM platforms such as BlueCat or EfficientIP is a strong plus. This role is critical to maintaining and evolving our DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services across data centers, public cloud environments, and enterprise locations. You’ll be part of a dynamic team driving automation, integration, and operational excellence.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Manage, configure, and maintain Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
  • Administer and troubleshoot DNS servers and related infrastructure.
  • Design and implement scalable DNS/DHCP architectures for hybrid and global operations.
  • Integrate DNS services with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DNSGoogle Cloud DNS) and automation tools.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of DDI services using cybersecurity best practices.
  • Maintain IP address management, subnet allocations, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with network, systems, and security teams to align DDI services with enterprise needs.
  • Support incident response and perform root cause analysis for DDI-related issues.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, operational documentation, and automation scripts.

Required Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years of hands-on experience with DDI solutions (Infoblox, DNS, DHCP, IPAM).

Desired Characteristics

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of DNS configuration, zone file management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Infoblox APIsPython scripting, and RESTful integrations.
  • Familiarity with F5 load balancers and DNS-related traffic management.
  • Exposure to cloud-native DNS platforms (Azure DNS, GCP Cloud DNS).
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles related to DNS/DHCP services.
  • Experience with other IPAM platforms such as BlueCat or EfficientIP.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Infoblox Certified Professional (CPI, CPE, or CCA).
  • Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., AnsibleTerraformServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise change management.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, global enterprise networks.
