As a Senior People Partner supporting our global GTM & Sales organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Databricks’ people and leadership landscape. You will serve as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders across Sales & GTM , aligning people strategy with business priorities to drive organizational performance, engagement, and scale.

You will help evolve and mature the People Partner function as we continue to grow globally, serving as both a strategic thought partner and an operational anchor in how we enable leaders, develop talent, and build a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior GTM executives (SVP- Director level) on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and team health.
  • Drive alignment between business strategy and people strategy, ensuring teams are structured, resourced, and enabled for success.
  • Partner with business leaders to anticipate organizational challenges and proactively design scalable solutions.

Talent Strategy & Leadership Development

  • Lead and influence talent planning, performance calibrations, succession, and promotion governance.
  • Coach senior leaders to elevate management capability and drive accountability, feedback, and performance excellence.
  • Partner with L&D to design leadership enablement programs that raise the bar on leadership and execution quality.

Culture, Engagement & Change Enablement

  • Use BLI, Pulse, and Culture Survey data to identify engagement trends, hotspots, and action opportunities.
  • Shape and implement programs that foster inclusion, belonging, and a strong Brickster experience.
  • Support leaders through large-scale organizational change, ensuring clear communication and consistent execution across geographies.

Operational & Systems Excellence

  • Partner cross-functionally with COEs (Talent, Comp, ER, Analytics, etc.) to operationalize people processes efficiently.
  • Simplify and standardize ways of working across GTM, using analytics to guide decision-making.
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the People Partner operating model as we scale.
What We Look For
  • 7+ years of HRBP/People Partner experience, including time supporting senior leaders in a global, high-growth tech environment.
  • Experience in organizational design, talent management, and leadership coaching.
  • Proven ability to influence executives and drive alignment across matrixed teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Bias toward simplification, action, and impact — balancing strategic thought leadership with operational execution.
  • Experience in GTM or customer-facing organizations (Sales, Marketing, CS) preferred.

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
