As a Product Manager at Micron Technology, Inc. in the Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU), you will be charged with defining and accomplishing the strategy for a High Performance Memory product portfolio that will further fortify Micron’s leadership position in the Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and High Performance Computing (HPC) business segments. You will be working on innovative technology driving highest performance memory product serving and enabling customer focused innovation.

You will be responsible for expanding Micron’s presence in the HBM market by actively pursuing and managing customer engagements, ensuring industry inputs are included in defining the strategy and vision of the product portfolio.

You will lead a cross-functional team of key representatives from multiple engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure execution of product to aligned spec within a specific timeline within budget!

Successful candidates for this role are ambitious and influential leaders who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and the creativity to resolve a wide array of complex challenges. Ideal prospects will have engineering background and analytical abilities with a strong sense of ownership on execution and possess good communication skills to drive customer engagements and cross-functional teams towards business goals. Products managers in this role will be self-starters with a can-do attitude who can apply their critical thinking ability to drive the best possible outcome!

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Manage multiple customer engagements by understanding business and technical requirements and ensuring accurate interpretation for internal engineering teams.

  • Represent Product Management in Product Development Team meetings, translating product spec trade-offs into business impact and advocating for customer needs.

  • Drive product strategy and roadmap alignment meetings, reporting status and highlighting key risks to achieving business goals.

  • Develop and optimize cases for products, including unit cost, capex, revenue, R&D, opportunity cost, and return on investment analysis.

  • Prepare and present Stage Gate materials (Stage Gate 1 and 2) for high-performance memory products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred) with 7+ years of experience in product development or engineering within semiconductor or computing systems.

  • Solid understanding of DRAM products and market trends; ability to address customers independently as a Micron representative.

  • Proven track record to work with cross-functional teams across multiple global sites and maintain structured, organized workflows.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a consistent track record of strategy development.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as the need arises.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with HBM technology and familiarity with high-performance memory products.

  • Demonstrated business insight and ability to complete complex technical projects successfully.

  • Experience in competitive analysis and maintaining market intelligence reports.

  • Skilled in operational excellence initiatives and process improvement within product management teams.

  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of acting as a secondary/back-up product manager for assigned products.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$121,000.00 - $274,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
