As a Segment Marketing Manager at Micron, you drive the worldwide inbound and outbound segment marketing and business development activities for Client SSD solutions as part of the long-term strategic growth objectives for Micron’s high volume Client Compute portfolio within the Mobile and Client Business Unit (MCBU).  

This role includes supporting strategic directions, driving product requirements, collaborating with enablement teams, identifying market opportunities, managing customer ramp schedules, supporting forecasting, and coordinating with internal team members to meet business targets!

Responsibilities:
  • Support pivotal initiatives to position Micron as a trusted advisor and preferred supplier for Client Compute products in the PC market.

  • Advocate for Client Compute solution requirements and influence product definition to meet customer needs.

  • Collaborate with enablement teams to align Micron’s portfolio with platform requirements and drive customer adoption.

  • Drive growth plans using structured business development methodologies to identify and pursue new market opportunities.

  • Partner with Sales, Field Engineering, and internal team members to manage customer qualification, ramp schedules, and business plan execution.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Marketing with strong technical competence.

  • 5+ years of experience in market and business development within a related field.

  • Demonstrated success in strategic customer engagement and ecosystem development.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external partners.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills to drive complex technology and business concepts.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.

    • Experience in Client PC hardware, SSDs, or related technologies.

    • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and platform enablement strategies.

    • Ability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies.

    • Experience in forecasting, market segmentation, and customer satisfaction programs.

    The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

    $121,000.00 - $274,000.00 a year

    Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
    Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
