  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to continuously refine product design and user workflows.
  • Develop detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs to clearly articulate the user experience to development teams.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly products on schedule.
  • Prioritize and maintain design-related tasks and documentation, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.
  • Manage the design process from concept ideation and iteration through final delivery and continuous design improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and compliance with automotive industry and accessibility standards.
  • Communicate project design strategies, customer insights, and progress to internal stakeholders, customers, and executive leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, design best practices, and new interaction paradigms to stay up to date of the latest advancements in product design.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI) shipping automotive software, embedded systems, IoT solutions, or developer/cloud platforms for large enterprise customers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to articulate complex design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong technical foundation in user experience design, visual design, and interaction design principles.
  • Track record leading a product through the full design lifecycle, from conception and discovery to launch and through sustaining support.
  • Significant experience designing for UX-driven enterprise web products.
  • Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and translating research findings into actionable design decisions.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), and user-centered design processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple design projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
