LiveRamp is looking for an experienced Staff SDET for the Quality Engineering team. The candidate's primary focus will be to prepare product release standards and processes, and to automate user journey scenarios to enable the process as efficiently as possible.  The primary goal is to support LiveRamp’s product so it can move fast without breaking things.

You will:

● Design and develop the product’s release quality assurance flow to fit the organization’s situation.

● Partner with PM to prepare the user case & journey of the umbrella product. 

● Partner with TPM and the dev lead to manage the overall release status through the release management tool.

● Thinking from the user perspective as a product expert to improve the user experience.

● Design and develop product-level performance testing.

● Design and develop product-level end-to-end automation to accelerate the product release cycle.

● Prepare and share product knowledge with the SRE and Technical support team.

● Troubleshoot Customer-reported Product Issues

● Technical lead of small groups of 2-3 Software Quality Engineers.

● Take the platoon lead's role to enable the quality process in the dev team. Learn the tech stack deeply.

Your team will: 

I need your help enabling the quality process for the dev team, and I’m expecting you to become the product expert, covering functionality and the backend tech stack.

About you: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science + 10 years in: 

● 6 years of previous experience as an enterprise-level Software Developer in a Test role

● 6 years of Hands-on experience in Test Strategy, Test Plan, Design, and Execution for  enterprise-level Functional, Integration, and PSR testing

● 4 years of Hands-on experience on Robustness testing tools like JMeter

● 6 years of Hands-on developer skills in any of the programming languages: Python, Java

● 2 years of Hands-on experience in setting up cloud test environments using Google Cloud 

   Platform, Amazon Web Services, etc.

● 5 years of Hands-on Work experience in agile and as an integrated Quality Engineer in the Scrum Team

Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience in the front end or back end will be great.

  • 2+ years of previous experience as a tech lead to organize testing around microservices and UI.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $152,500 to $229,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
