About Us

At 3Y Health, we are building AI-driven software to empower healthcare providers and solve the overwhelming administrative complexity that consumes 40% of the industry’s revenue. Our end-to-end platform unlocks opportunities for clinician entrepreneurs, enabling medical professionals to launch, run, and grow private practices. By supporting these independent practices with the latest AI and automation, we’re helping providers reclaim their time, build thriving businesses, and deliver better outcomes for their communities. 3Y Health is backed by over $200M from top-tier investors including Founders Fund, General Catalyst, Softbank, and 8VC.

About the Role

We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer to help us craft intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that our providers love. The ideal candidate is a product-minded engineer with deep expertise in modern web development (React, TypeScript, Node) and a strong sense of design and user interaction quality. You care about clean, modular code, and can collaborate closely with design and product to bring elegant experiences to life. Ideal candidates may have experience as a founding engineer or founder and bring a bias toward ownership, speed, and continuous iteration.

This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive architecture decisions and work cross-functionally across engineering, design, and product teams. As a Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering scalable systems, collaborating on product development, and shaping the user experience of our practice management platform.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain reusable, performant, and accessible frontend components using React and TypeScript

  • Work closely with designers to bring beautiful, user-centered experiences to life

  • Own UX polish and interaction quality; continuously seek ways to improve usability

  • Collaborate with backend engineers to define API interfaces and occasionally implement backend logic as needed

  • Influence frontend architectural decisions and promote best practices in code modularity and maintainability

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team rituals

  • Bring a founder’s mindset—proactive, product-focused, and eager to take ownership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering roles

  • Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and frontend architecture

  • Track record of delivering high-quality UI/UX in close collaboration with design/product

  • Ability to write clean, modular, scalable code with an eye for reusability

  • Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, GraphQL, or similar)

  • Bonus: past experience as a founder, co-founder, or founding engineer

  • Ability to work 5 days a week in our San Francisco office with a fully in-person team

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
