  • Lead technical design and architectural decisions that drive reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Automate and optimize system performance through CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and resilient infrastructure.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and uptime using data-driven insights.

  • Mentor engineers by sharing best practices and driving technical excellence across teams.

  • Take ownership of work end-to-end, from design through deployment and post-release iteration.

Our Tech Stack:

Backend: Node.js / TypeScript, Ruby
Frontend: React (primary), Vue (legacy)
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
Observability: Datadog, Cloudwatch, Loki, Grafana
CI/CD: GitHub Actions

Note: We do not expect candidates to know every tool. We value curiosity, adaptability, and a strong foundation in modern software development.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.

  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment automation.

  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non-technical partners.

  • A bias for ownership and a drive to improve both systems and processes.

  • (Bonus) Experience in healthcare, high-availability, or regulated systems.

Salary and Perks

Pay Range: $183,000 - 247,000 base compensation.
