Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sterling OMS Developer with strong backend development expertise and hands-on experience in frontend UI customization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and seamless integration with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using IBM Sterling OMS.

  • Work extensively on backend components, including order workflows, APIs, and integrations with external systems (e.g., payment, fulfillment, and inventory).

  • Perform UI customization using Sterling Web UI Framework, JSP, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.

  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.

  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and deployment activities.

  • Maintain and enhance existing OMS functionalities and integrations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Order Management System (implementation, customization, and support).

  • Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, SQL, and REST/SOAP-based integrations.

  • Experience in UI customization using Sterling Web UI, Dojo, JSP, or JavaScript frameworks.

  • Good understanding of order lifecycle, fulfillment processes, and supply chain concepts.

  • Familiarity with Microservices and integration platforms (ESB, MQ, API Gateways) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Sterling Call Center or Store UI.

  • Knowledge of cloud-based OMS deployments (IBM SaaS, AWS, Azure).
