Job Description

Storage Administrator - Level-3 (CISCO MDS FABRIC SWITCHES Both CLI/GUI) 

• Netapp - Data Ontap 7 mode & cluster Data Ontap administration- Netapp V-filer/V-server - Netapp NAS/SAN-(both ISCSI-FC )/CIFS

• Expertise in CISCO MDS FABRIC SWITCHES Both CLI/GUI 

• Design and Implementation of Solutions and Migrations around NetApp/Migration from Netapp 7 mode to Cluster Mode

• *NetApp Administration through On Command System manager and CLI.

• *NetApp Replication (Snap Manager(Oracle &Exchange), SnapVault & Snapmirror, Sync Mirror).

• *NetApp Performance advisor.

• *SAN Fabric Administration

• *Very Good Knowledge with ITIL Processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management). Preferably ITIL Foundation Certified.

• *Knowledge in using Service Management Tool like Remedy, Service Center etc.

• *Excellent Communication Skills

• *Should have worked in a Remote Support Environment

• *Ability to clearly articulate situations / issues to cross-functional teams and clients 

• Expertise in CISCO MDS FABRIC SWITCHES Both CLI/GUI

• NetApp Storage administration and configuration (- Ontap 7 mode/cdot- NAS/SAN/CIFS)

• It would be nice if the candidates have a background in EMC & Cisco as well.

• Supporting the production SAN/NAS storage environment

• Managing NetApp 3000 and 6000 series filers

• Managing Aggregates, Volumes, shelf's and disks

• Adding disks in to aggregates and assigning in to controllers

• Managing and Supporting the San IT Infrastructure using the FC / iSCSI connectivity

• Storage allocation to Windows servers.

• Resolving connectivity issues.

• Snap Shot, and snap restore configuration in SAN

• Configured Snap drive for Windows and created LUN's through Snap drive

• SAN /NAS Configuration and administration

• Creation of Volumes, Qtree's, LUN's and igroups

• Creation of CIFS volumes and shares

• Quota creation for Qtree's and volumes

• Analyzing the Logs of Servers & Storages.

• Security management of NAS shared folders

• Configuring Auto support and DNS configuration

• Administering Cluster configuration and solving cluster related issues

• Managing additional shelves in existing controller

• Capacity management/Technical evaluation for storage requirement

• Performing Daily health checks for NAS and SAN Environment

• Good knowledge in Snap mirror, Snap Vault, and OSSV

• Performance and health checking of storage box

• Brocade SAN Switch and zoning configuration 

• EMC H/W

• VMAX/DMX

• SYMMETRIX SRDF/BCV

• VNX

• CELERA/CLARION

• *EMC Snapview and Mirrorview skills

• *EMC Symmetrix/VMAX Configuration and Administration

• *EMC Time Finder and SRDF Administration and knowledge on Recoverpoint 

Soft Skills

• Ability to quickly identify issues, determine root cause, and long-term solutions

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work within detailed project plans.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
