We are looking for an experienced and energetic Strategic Account Executive (SAE) who can engage our current Mid-Market customer base in partnership with our Customer Experience (CX) teams to focus on the strategic positioning of our Cardiometabolic solution and full platform upsell. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to navigate complex environments and successfully sell to senior-level executives of existing customers.  The ideal candidate will care about solving a customer's needs with passion, drive, and will operate with a level of integrity that allows us to shine with our channel partners and the broader healthcare ecosystem. The ideal candidate will share our yearning for learning, iterating, and mastering their craft. This successful candidate will be business savvy, strategically minded, consultative, and be able to build effective stories to further relationship development and persuade current customers to expand their product portfolio with Omada. The ideal candidate will also be able to manage a high volume of sales conversations on an ongoing basis.

As part of the Omada sales team the individual in this role will:

  • Collaborate with Customer Experience (CX) to author a clear and concise strategy from SQL to Closed Won on key opportunities fit for an upsell of Omada products.  Once identified, execute the upsell process and playbook for those accounts. Specific skills applicable to Mid-Market level clients.
  • Play a material role and participate in Annual / Quarterly business review strategy development and meeting execution for identified upsell accounts.  Provide thought leadership and customer education related to market insights, Omada insights, and Omada Roadmap.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Alliance partner and Consultant to ensure full alignment in the upsell process.
  • Achieve a mastery level in SalesForce (SFDC), with the ability to monitor sales pipeline, create accurate business cases, forecast sales impact, and surpass expectations related to SFDC Excellence.
  • Voice of the Customer - provide prospect and client feedback to drive ongoing product innovation; field-level competitive intelligence gatherings, trends impacting payers.
  • Be the product champion / evangelist for Omada Health. 

This position reports to Director, Strategic Accounts and will require the person to work cooperatively at all levels within the organization. The corporate culture is one in which smart, dynamic, driven, and vibrant individuals thrive.

Candidates must understand the Employee Benefits environment and processes, be conversant with senior level executives in Benefits, HR, Medical and Finance, and have a proven track record of success in selling business solutions in this environment. 

We’re looking for the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience selling Health and/or Benefits solutions to self-insured employers and/or Health Plans
  • A track record of successful quota achievement and/or sales achievement awards
  • Ability to work in collaboration with CX to understand the audience, what they need to hear, and how to motivate a prospect to take action to achieve an upsell and improve retention
  • Experience maintaining ongoing relationships with large, complex clients
  • Ability to close a sale, having the communication skills, credibility, and authority to handle each client from discovery through contract execution
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively organizing and managing expectations and commitments
  • An agile, intelligent, dynamic thinker with ability to reframe objections and respond nimbly during prospect meetings across numerous topics
  • A team player that will work ardently towards exceeding their own quota and deliver outstanding results, but never do so at the expense of a colleague, or Omada

Below is a summary of compensation ranges for this role in the following geographies:

California, New York State and Washington State Ranges: $243,280 - $274,100, Colorado Compensation Ranges: $237,920 - $267,400.

Range is indicative of On Target Earnings (OTE) and includes both base pay and commission at 100% achievement of established targets. Base salary is approximately 47% - 46% of total compensation range. This role is also eligible for equity grants. The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations.
