About Onos Health

Onos Health’s mission is simple but ambitious: ensure every healthcare dollar goes toward delivering the highest quality care. Today, nearly 30% of U.S. healthcare spending is wasted due to ineffective care and administrative burden caused by misalignment between providers and payers.

Onos is addressing this by building the AI platform that enables health plans to understand clinical care at scale. By transforming unstructured clinical documentation into actionable insights, we help payers make faster, more informed decisions, identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce waste, and ensure more healthcare dollars are directed toward delivering better outcomes.

Come join a category-defining company and transform how healthcare is managed in the U.S.

Why Onos

Meaningful impact: Help solve one of healthcare’s biggest challenges by improving quality while reducing waste.

Ownership: Take on significant responsibility from day one and shape a rapidly growing company.

Direct collaboration: Work alongside experienced founders with deep expertise in healthcare, AI, and product development.

High-performing team: Join a transparent, collaborative, and execution-focused culture.

Build something new: Help define the next generation of AI-powered healthcare analytics.

The Role

Onos is growing, and our health plan customers are growing with us. As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll be the go to person payers count on to make Onos work for them, and the person our product and operations teams count on to tell them what those payers actually need.

In this role you’ll manage real payer relationships, shape how we deliver value, and help set up the processes that let us scale without losing the personal touch.

What you’ll own

  • Strategic payer relationships: you’re the day-to-day lead and trusted advisor for a portfolio of health plan customers

  • Cross-functional partnership: you work with product and operations to make sure payers get the most out of Onos

  • Voice of the customer: you bring client needs, feedback, and friction points back to the team, and push to get them addressed

  • Account initiatives and project execution: you drive them from kickoff to delivery, on time and with clear owners

  • Scaling the account function: you help build the processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms that support our growth across Onos

  • Other duties as needed. We’re an early team, so the work will evolve.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in strategic account management, product management, or client services

  • Bonus if you have 1–2 years of management consulting experience

  • Direct experience with healthcare payers, whether working at a health plan or managing health plan clients as a vendor or partner

  • Working knowledge of how healthcare businesses and payers operate, including the stakeholders and priorities

  • Familiarity with payer data, health plan workflows, or value-based care programs

  • Experience with AI-enabled products or technical SaaS platforms

  • Startup or fast-paced environment experience where things aren’t defined. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, and you bring structure to it instead of waiting for it to clear up

  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach to client management. You anticipate what clients will need before they ask, bring clarity when the path isn’t obvious, and act without waiting for direction

  • Track record of working cross-functionally with product teams while driving projects and initiatives across the organization

  • Comfort translating between client needs and internal teams, in both directions

  • Experience building account management processes, playbooks, or reporting from scratch

  • Strong written and verbal communication, including with senior client stakeholders

Benefits & Perks

  • Hybrid 3x per week in office (Mon/Tues/Thurs) in San Francisco, Financial District

  • Flexible vacation policy

  • Paid parental leave

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Pre-tax commuter benefits

  • 401(k)

  • Significant equity as an early employee

  • Direct mentorship from experienced founders

  • Ground-floor opportunity to help build both the product and company

  • Regular team events and off-sites

  • Company provided equipment and home office setup

  • In-office lunches and snacks provided
