The Strategic Deal Lead is remote and reports to the VP of Business Development. In this position, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and business development efforts for our medical equipment, medical device and drug delivery offerings. This role requires a multifaceted leader who can navigate complex negotiations, build partnerships, and drive sales growth.
What a typical day looks like:
Identify and pursue large-scale manufacturing and services opportunities for Health Solutions including significant production transfers in support of customer network optimization initiatives
Create and lead cross functional teams to build the business case and create and present compelling proactive proposals to existing and potential customers
Lead the development and execution of strategic deals and partnerships within the medical equipment, drug delivery and medical device sector
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, strategy and sales teams to identify market opportunities and formulate business strategies.
Conduct market analysis and leverage your network of industry connections to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Negotiate and close high-value contracts and agreements with key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Develop presentations and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends and opportunities.
Some travel required (domestic and international).
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
7+ years of business development experience in an EMS environment.
Financial modeling knowledge.
Proven track record of successfully closing large and complex deals.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Knowledge of the medical market is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
