Join the team bringing advanced autonomy to the built world

At Bedrock, we’re moving AI out of the lab and into the real world. Our team is composed of industry veterans who helped launch Waymo, scaled Segment to a $3.2B acquisition, and grew Uber Freight to $5B in revenue. Today, we’re deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction machinery across the country, accelerating project schedules of billion-dollar infrastructure projects and improving safety on job sites. Backed by $350M in funding, we’re working quickly to close the gap between America's surging demand for housing, data centers, manufacturing hubs, and the construction industry's growing labor shortage.

This is where algorithms meet steel-toed boots. You’ll collaborate with construction veterans and world-class engineers to solve physical-world problems that simulations can’t touch. If you're ready to apply cutting-edge technology to solve meaningful problems alongside a talented team—we'd love to have you join us.

The Role:

We're growing fast and expanding product and revenue lines. We are looking for an exceptional finance leader to serve as our Strategic Finance Lead. This is a critical role within our Finance team that will shape the financial strategy of the company. This role will enable data-driven decision-making at the executive level, and drive long-term value creation. You will work closely with the VP of Finance, CEO, COO, Commercial team and others across Bedrock Robotics to translate business strategy into financial plans and actionable insights.

What You'll Do:

Lead strategic planning

  • Own the company's long-range financial planning process and multi-year strategic model

  • Lead financial evaluation of major strategic initiatives, including M&A, partnerships, capital raises, and new market entry

  • Develop board and investor materials, including board decks, investor updates, and fundraising narratives

  • Advise senior leadership on capital allocation, ROI frameworks, and portfolio prioritization

Build and execute our FP&A function

  • Oversee the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly close commentary processes

  • Establish company-wide financial targets and ensure alignment across business units

  • Drive variance analysis and performance reporting, delivering clear insights to the leadership team

  • Build and evolve the financial model architecture to support scale and complexity

Provide exceptional business partner & decision support

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to functional leaders across Commercial, Product, Operations, People and Marketing

  • Evaluate new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and go-to-market investments with rigorous financial analysis

  • Lead build-vs-buy-vs-partner analyses and scenario planning for key business decisions

  • Provide financial due diligence support for M&A transactions and integrations

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including roles in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or corporate strategy

  • Expert-level financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills

  • Track record of influencing senior executives and board-level stakeholders

  • Strong executive communication skills — able to distill complex financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives

  • Deep business acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers

  • Comfort navigating uncertainty in fast-moving environments

  • Experience in robotics, vehicle, hardware or industrial automation is a plus

  • Experience in within the construction space is also a plus

Our roles are often flexible. If you don't fit all the criteria, or are in another location (especially one where we have an office like SF or NY) please apply anyway! We'd love to consider you.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
