Hundreds of thousands of members have joined Function to take control of their health.
Through advanced diagnostics, deep biomarker testing, longitudinal data, and AI-enabled insights, Function equips members with actionable intelligence to take control of both the quality and length of their lives.
Function recently announced a $298M Series B and is entering its next chapter of growth. As we scale, the quality and durability of our People systems, data, and insights will directly shape our ability to attract, retain, and support exceptional talent.
We are growing our team and seeking out world-class talent that deeply believes in our mission to positively impact global health, has a relentless bias toward action, and a growth mindset. Function fosters a collaborative and dynamic environment where every day we build the future.

The Strategic Finance Manager, Growth will serve as a thought partner for Function's highest-velocity business areas. You'll own the financial analysis and recommendation layer for growth marketing, B2B sales, brand marketing, and strategic partnerships, ensuring every dollar we deploy is aligned with both Function's mission and long-term financial strategy.
This is a highly autonomous role where you'll be in the room when decisions are being shaped, not called in afterward. You'll build the models, own the metrics, and develop the recommendations that guide how we acquire and retain members. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, thrives in ambiguity, and can connect the dots between channel-level tactics and company-wide strategy.
This role is best suited for those energized by fast-paced environments, excited to build in a high-growth setting, and deeply motivated by our mission at Function. If you're looking for meaningful challenges, dynamic work, and the opportunity to make a real impact—we’d love to meet you.

- 5–7+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Finance, Marketing Finance, BizOps, or FP&A, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Strong command of DTC marketing metrics including CAC, LTV, payback periods, cohort analysis, and channel-level attribution.
- Deep understanding of unit economics and the ability to connect marketing spend to business outcomes.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; proficiency in SQL is strongly preferred.
- AI-forward approach; familiar with Claude, ChatGPT, and finance-specific AI tools.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with experience building financial models from scratch.
- Comfort with ambiguity—you can structure problems, identify the right questions, and drive toward answers with incomplete information.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to push back constructively and hold a point of view while remaining collaborative.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in DTC, health-tech, or subscription-based businesses.
- Exposure to growth marketing operations or working directly with performance marketing teams.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) and marketing analytics platforms.
