Opportunity Overview:

The Strategic Operations Analyst supports strategic and operational improvement efforts across the organization. This role assists in identifying compliance risks, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for transformation that contribute to scalable growth and sustainable performance. Partnering with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams, the analyst provides data-driven insights, supports process and technology solution design, and contributes to the development of metrics and governance structures that enable measurable, lasting improvement.

This position combines analytical rigor, curiosity, and structured problem-solving to help translate business challenges into actionable recommendations and support high-impact initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Business Optimization & Strategy Execution
    • Assess current-state operations, define strategic priorities, and drive cross-functional transformation aligned to leadership goals.
    • Assists in developing business cases, roadmaps, and implementation plans to support scalable, efficient, and customer-focused change.
  • Compliance Risk Management & Governance
    • Identify compliance gaps, operational risks, and workflow vulnerabilities across business processes and systems.
    • Assist in embedding controls, policies, and monitoring mechanisms into technology and operations to ensure adherence and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
    • Contribute to process analysis efforts to uncover inefficiencies and recommend streamlined workflows.
    • Create standardized documentation and procedures to support scalability, accountability, and operational efficiency.
  • Metrics, Insights & Performance Tracking
    • Help define and maintain KPIs and success metrics for Optimization initiatives.
    • Translate data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decisions and improvement opportunities.
  • Change Management & Implementation
    • Support end-to-end implementation of optimization initiatives, including execution, communication, and post-launch optimization.
    • Drive stakeholder adoption through training, enablement, feedback loops, and ongoing refinement of solutions.

What you’ll need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business transformation, strategy execution, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • Foundational understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process mapping, business analysis, and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL).
  • Experience working with Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to align technology solutions with business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Operations Management, or related field, or similar years of relevant experience preferred.

💻 Fully remote opportunity with about 5% travel

The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $65,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
