itD is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager V to lead high-impact payments partnership initiatives, driving strategy, negotiation, and execution across Company’s global payments ecosystem. This role is critical in enabling seamless commerce experiences by building and scaling partnerships with key payment providers. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in payments partnerships and a strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives, including commercial agreements, product integrations, and scalable partner programs.
Location: Hybrid – San Francisco, CA / Menlo Park, CA
Pay Rate: $69.71- $78.71 per hour
Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities
- Lead strategic partner workstreams with key payments ecosystem partners, including planning, execution, and performance management
- Develop and drive partnership strategies by identifying opportunities, defining success metrics, and aligning stakeholders
- Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, technical scope, and operational requirements
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and deliverables
- Drive cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams
- Create scalable frameworks for partner selection, prioritization, and ongoing performance management
- Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams, providing clear updates and recommendations
- Leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, decision-making, and operational efficiency
Internal Responsibilities
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
- Complete client case studies and learning materials (blogs, media content)
- Build materials contributing to the Digital Transformation practice
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
- Partner with leadership on career advancement opportunities
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years of experience in payments, partnerships, or related domain
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority
- Experience structuring and negotiating commercial agreements, including pricing and financial models
- Strong expertise in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with payments cost optimization
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- 12+ years of experience in payments or partnerships, including complex negotiations
- Experience working with global partners and executive stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to operate in ambiguous environments
- Experience building frameworks and driving organizational alignment
- Strong operational rigor, including goal-setting, metrics tracking, and QBR execution
- Experience leveraging AI tools for productivity, analysis, and workflow automation
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience required.
