Your Role at impact.com:

The Strategic Program Manager is a high-leverage leader within the global Strategy Team. The primary mission of this role spans three core areas:

  • Bet Roadmap Management: Serve as the strategic representative and program leader for our critical "Bets" (e.g., Retail Media). Define, coordinate, and govern the cross-functional roadmaps required to launch and scale these adjacent bets successfully.
  • GTMD & Strategy Implementation (SDM Focus): Act as the Strategy Delivery Manager initially coupled to the Go-To-Market Delivery (GTMD) organization. Partner with local, regional, and commercial operations to analyze performance, de-risk execution, and unlock revenue-generating opportunities through targeted strategic projects.
  • General Strategy Project Work: Support decision-making through rigorous, data-driven frameworks and ensure that once a decision is made, the operational engine executes it with precision, predictability, and efficiency.

What You'll Do:

1. Bet Roadmap Management & PMO Governance (40%)
  • End-to-End Program Delivery: Own the lifecycle of major, cross-functional programs under the "Bets" framework from initial scoping and business case development through to final operationalization and launch.
  • Retail Media Bet Leadership: Directly manage the Bet Roadmap for the Retail Media Bet, specifically supporting Frank and ensuring alignment across all involved stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Roadmap Integration: Construct and maintain unified program roadmaps, aligning deliverables across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify and manage system-wide dependencies, resource constraints, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Executive Communication & Status Reporting: Establish structured, lightweight status-reporting cadences to keep L1 and L2 leadership informed of program health and milestone progress.
2. Strategy Projects & GTMD Implementation (SDM Focus) (30%)
  • GTMD Alignment: Act as the dedicated SDM coupled to the GTMD organization, ensuring strategic initiatives are effectively translated into market-facing execution.
  • Pricing & Expansion Strategy: Lead critical analysis on elasticity pricing models and conduct comprehensive international expansion analysis to guide new market entry.
  • Account & Segment Optimization: Drive stubborn accounts analysis to identify retention and growth blockers. Work closely with specific verticals and segments to tailor strategies that improve penetration and yield.
  • Revenue & Retention Optimization: Partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), VP of GTM, and the Head of Renewals to design, test, and execute strategic client retention and expansion programs.
3. Operational Excellence & Process Design (20%)
  • Process Engineering: Analyze current-state cross-functional operations and design optimized, highly scalable "Ways of Working" (WoW) to support new strategic capabilities.
  • Operational De-Risking: Conduct post-mortems, program-level audits, and operational readiness reviews to evaluate the quality and stability of strategic program rollouts.
  • Jira & Tooling Alignment: Standardize program-level tracking within Jira and Confluence, ensuring program data flows cleanly from execution squads up to strategic portfolio dashboards.
4. General Strategy Team Support & Secondary Duties (10%)
  • Ad-Hoc Strategic Projects: Support the wider Strategy Team with market and competitive intelligence, thematic deep dives, financial scenario modeling (with FP&A), and macro business analysis as required.
  • Team Development: Mentor junior team members, assist with recruiting top-tier talent to the Strategy & Operations organization, and foster a culture of high performance and psychological safety.
What You Bring:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, or a highly analytical field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of professional experience, ideally combining:
    • 3–4 years in top-tier Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or an executive-facing advisory role.
    • 3–4 years in an operational program management, product operations, or PMO leadership role within a high-growth technology/SaaS company.
  • Program Management Expertise: Proven track record of managing highly complex, multi-million dollar initiatives involving matrixed, cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Rigor: Advanced financial and scenario modeling skills; ability to distill ambiguous data sets (e.g., pricing elasticity, stubborn accounts) into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build alignment across Director- and C-suite levels.
  • Travel Requirement: Comfort with traveling up to 10% as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related graduate degree.
  • Formal certification in Program/Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM).
  • Experience with structured innovation frameworks, OKR methodologies, or Agile-at-scale frameworks in a SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency using AI productivity tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate personal output, documentation, and analysis.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $180,000 per year, plus an additional 10% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.

*This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
