Join Us in Building the Future of Home Robotics

At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.

We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

What to Expect
We're looking for a Strategic Projects Lead to join our Data team and take on our most ambiguous problems across the org.
This role is both strategy and execution; you'll come up with the ideas and be in the weeds building and executing them. Much of the work is pure 0-to-1. You take an undefined problem, stand up the process and tooling from scratch and run it until it's a working function. You'll also hunt down friction wherever it lives, finding where things are breaking or slowing down, figuring out why and shipping the fix. Above all, you're the person the team leans on, ready to drop into anything and drive it forward the moment it's needed.
New problems surface constantly, and you'll be executing. You'll have a hand in every boat and partner across all teams, from Data Ops to ML, Product, Software and Hardware, alongside our 1000+ Memory Developers. You're going to be everywhere.
Success in this role comes from high agency, sharp cross-functional instincts and a relentless drive to keep projects moving forward.
What You'll Do

  • Own new operational initiatives end to end, taking a vague problem statement to a working, documented, hand-off-ready function

  • Hunt down friction across the Data team by finding where things are breaking or slowing down, diagnosing the root cause and shipping the fix

  • Align stakeholders across teams, staying on top of dependencies and clearing blockers as they come up

  • Build the operating system for each function you own: SOPs, workflows, tooling and the metrics that tell us whether it's healthy

  • Pull, analyze and sanity-check operational data to make decisions and flag issues before they become fires

  • Take on the operational miscellany that keeps the Data team running smoothly

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience leading a team or developing product or operational processes

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of owning ambiguous problems and building structure from scratch; you don't wait for a fully scoped task or a playbook

  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills; you're comfortable herding engineers, operators and external partners toward a shared goal

  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments where priorities shift all the time

  • Strong organization and follow-through across many parallel threads

  • Ability to leverage AI to enhance productivity

  • A level of hardcore-ness while still treating people like people

Nice to Have

  • Experience in strategic projects, chief-of-staff, investment banking or program management roles

  • Strong data analysis skills; comfortable pulling, cleaning, and interpreting data and building operational reporting from scratch

  • Exposure to robotics, embodied AI, or real-world data collection environments

At Sunday Robotics, we’re building technology shaped by real people — curious, creative, and diverse. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hold back unless they meet 100% of the criteria — we don’t want that to be the reason we miss out on great talent.
