At Viral Nation, we specialize in building social-first ecosystems for brands to connect with the modern consumer journey. Our integrated solutions align strategy, talent, media, and technology with culturally relevant creativity to scale the world’s fastest-growing digital brands. Viral Nation offers a fluid, creative, and growth-oriented environment that will support your ambitions to apply your talents in an open, collaborative, and fast-paced culture. Our ability to stay at the forefront of the industry has fuelled our success and will guide us in paving the path forward. We’re driven to push boundaries and think beyond today to deliver strategies, and we’re just getting started.

While we continuously exceed our goals, we need your help – our success is only as great as our people. Strong performance leads to high expectations, and we must keep raising the bar!

We are seeking a Reporting Lead to join our Strategy team who can translate complex program activity, performance data, and cross-functional inputs into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for executive audiences. This role sits at the center of how we communicate program impact, opportunities, and strategic direction to senior leaders who have limited or no context on day-to-day execution.

This is not a copywriting role, it is a strategic communication and storytelling role. The ideal candidate is an exceptional synthesizer who can cut through noise, eliminate unnecessary detail, and articulate what matters with precision, consistency, and confidence.

You will own the structure, tone, and clarity of leadership-facing reporting, including TL;DR summaries, executive readouts, one-page narratives, and program performance decks. Your work will directly shape how leadership understands success, risk, and strategic priorities across influencer, creator, and social programs.

If you are energized by distilling complexity into meaning, crafting stories that drive alignment, and raising the bar on reporting excellence, this role is for you.

What You'll Do Here:

Executive Narrative Development

  • Develop concise, compelling executive narratives that translate operational insights into clear storytelling.
  • Lead the creation of leadership-facing reporting materials, including TLDR slides, executive summary decks, QBR topline narratives, and strategic one-sheeters.
  • Deliver ready-to-present deck structures and storylines that support rapid leadership decision-making.
  • Craft executive facing one-liners and rapid-response narratives for urgent executive requests.

Reporting Excellence & Framework Optimization

  • Evaluate and refine reporting templates to improve clarity, consistency, and executive utility.
  • Establish a cross-organizational standard for reporting quality, messaging hierarchy, and narrative structure.
  • Partner with Operations in bi-weekly reviews to identify performance themes, insights, risks, and opportunities to inform narrative framing.
  • Ensure all reporting outputs align with leadership priorities and the organization’s broader strategic direction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Strategy, Director and cross-functional leaders, supporting ad hoc and time-sensitive reporting and leadership requests.
  • Conduct internal trainings to strengthen teams’ ability to synthesize information and deliver executive-ready communications.
  • Support improvements in creator briefs, QBR clarity, TLDR quality, and reporting cohesion across teams.
  • Cultivate strong relationships across departments to ensure narrative alignment and reporting accuracy.

Leadership Presence & Professional Excellence

  • Demonstrate maturity, discretion, and reliability when working closely with C-suite leaders.
  • Navigate tight timelines with calm, clarity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Uphold the highest standard of communication quality across all outputs

You'll Need To Have:

  • 6+ years in strategy, executive communications, reporting, or a related role at a major agency or global brand.
  • Proven ability to distill complex information into compelling executive-ready narratives.
  • Strong experience building leadership-facing decks and narrative frameworks under tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, high-performance environments requiring clarity and precision.
  • Expertise in interpreting operational and performance signals to inform concise storytelling.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills designed for executive consumption.
  • Strong narrative instincts and the ability to translate insights and complex data into clear strategic meaning.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and able to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to influence teams and elevate standards.
