Overview

Tonal’s Supply Chain Operations Program Manager is responsible for driving the execution of various initiatives related to product cost reduction and improved customer experience. This will include working with key partners located in the US, Mexico, Taiwan, and China. The role will also develop the supply chain for new products and drive new product development component sourcing and tooling acquisition.

This role is a hybrid position located in San Francisco.

What You Will Do

  • Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product cost and improve the customer experience

  • Develop new product supply chain and support NPI procurement and tool development

  • Own new product quoting processes and cost management across component, subassembly and CM level

  • Drive a global tooling strategy in support of current and future business, prioritizing both capacity and cost

  • Provide timely communications and updates throughout the department, raising key issues and options for resolution

  • Drive product manufacturability, testability and supply chain design to meet cost, quality and response targets

  • Establish supply readiness to ensure material availability to support production ramp

 

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing for a hardware device company with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale programs managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or related field

  • Experience in global supply chain/manufacturing positions with relevant knowledge of contract manufacturing and supplier commodity management

  • Demonstrated experience in quickly adapting and learning new technologies and creating a solid understanding of operational challenges of complex systems

  • Experience dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and facilitating actions and resolving conflicts with limited oversight

  • Strong analytical background used for making complex decisions

  • Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones

  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
