Position Overview

K18 is seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Planning Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply planning processes, ensuring optimal inventory levels across all distribution centers (domestic and international), cost efficiency, freight utilization, and timely delivery of products to meet customer demand, while balancing obsolescence liability. This position requires expertise in forecasting, supply planning, budgeting and cross-functional coordination to ensure that production and distribution plans align with business goals. 

Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to supply chain strategy for Inventory related topics across SKUs – inclusive of finished goods, new product development, samples, and marketing merchandise 
  • Translate supply chain strategy into Inventory strategy, including MRP parameters setup. 
  • Plan and actively manage allocation strategy for SKUs with low inventory and/or new product launches where inventory will be flowing in weekly to meet customer demands on a rolling basis 
  • Create short, medium, and long-term supply plans to meet business objectives while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory through our MRP system, including parameters setup (Oracle Planning Cloud) 
  • Define and propose an inventory KPIs according to the product life cycle and deployment rules (introduction, end of life, product clearing, etc.). 
  • Evaluate productivity of all SKUs to manage potential inventory liability of overstocks and minimize obsolescence; recommend product transition from active to discontinue as appropriate. 
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock on hand, balancing 
    supply availability with working capital constraints. 
  • Manage the Lifecycle of items in the DC. Track Expiration dates and ensure timely ordering to maintain a > 97% fill rate.  
  • Elaborate and present budget for inventory level, purchasing amount 
  • Monitor actual expenses versus budget 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and effectively liaise between supply chain and commercial Team on inventory topics.  The goal is to maximize in-stocks to support > 97% fill by SKU while maintaining EOY Financial Inventory Targets. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Production teams to align on product demand, promotions, seasonality, and allocation. 
  • Lead and own additional projects as requested. 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum three years of production or supply planning and supply chain experience; wholesale experience is a plus (BA, BS preferred) 
  • Previous Supply or Production planning experience 
  • Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel skills and MRP planning 
  • Previous experience in Oracle Planning Cloud and NetSuite is a plus 
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to compile and analyze large data sets. 
  • Resourceful problem solver who can use tools and resources to answer questions 
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify problems in data intuitively 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Flexible team player who can work independently and with cross-functional teams 
  • May require 15% travel 

Salary Range: $100-110k USD

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
