The SVP, Integrated Business Development is responsible for working with client, Acxiom, Agency and Partner teams to understand client & sector needs; develop creative consultative solutions that address needs; independently or jointly propose solutions; manage assigned accounts including proactive upsell and business defense.
The successful candidate has a track record of success in delighting customers with innovative thought leadership combined with mastery of fast-paced environments, technical savviness, financial acumen, a unique ability to capture valuable insight through probing questions, and an ability to lead cross-functional dynamic teams.

Key Responsibilities

Thought Leadership & Curiosity

  • Have or demonstrate the ability to rapidly develop advanced understanding of multiple industries (CPG, MFG/Auto, Pharma/Health/Insurance, Financial Services, FinTech, Retail, QSR, etc.).
  • Have or demonstrate the ability to rapidly develop intersecting Martech & Adtech ecosystem knowledge to craft relevant solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with, or for, one or more agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously evolve solutions and push boundaries to match the pace of digital and consumer change.
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate solutions and offerings from competitors.
  • Commitment to continuously upgrade Acxiom, industry vertical, agency, client and ecosystem knowledge.

Influence & Collaboration

  • Lead through influence a cross-functional team of internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ensure viability of proposed solutions and seamless solution integration between Acxiom, Agency, Partner, and Client teams.

Results

  • Meet and exceed business goals
  • Lead or facilitate contract negotiations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of business development, client management and/or solution selling experience.

Required Experience

  • Experience interfacing with Senior Executive and C-Level Marketers.
  • Knowledge of the Martech, Adtech, Agency, Cloud, Data, Publisher and Partner ecosystems.
  • Experience building business value propositions that quantify client revenue and ROI opportunity.
  • Knowledge of omni-channel engagement (online & offline)
  • Experience managing multiple accounts with multiple initiatives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Creative solutioning and analytical thinking.

Differentiating Experience

  • Within the agency ecosystem, knowledge of a combination of disciplines spanning Strategy, Creative, Production, Customer Journey, Experiential, CX and PR disciplines.
  • Experience speaking on industry panels & events.

Travel: Ability to travel 25 to 85%
