Job Description

Job Title: System Administrator

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Active Directory/Windows Infrastructure system administration
  • Office 365/Exchange Email administration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server hardware and operating system issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain server infrastructure and equipment
  • Maintain and support Data Center activities

Core Competencies and Experience:

  • Strong Active Directory and Windows Infrastructure knowledge
  • Has built Active Directory Domains/Forests
  • Has upgraded Active Directory Domains (i.e. 2008 to 2012)
  • Extensive implementation experience of Windows Infrastructure components including ADFS, WSUS, CA, NPS, DNS, DHCP, domain trust relationships (CA and NPS experience is a plus)
  • 5+ years experience with Windows Server Operating Systems
  • 3+ years experience with VMWare vSphere
  • Experience with PowerShell and creating scripts
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, WSUS
  • Experience with Dell Server Hardware (Dell Blades preferred) including DRAC and OpenManage

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work with new technologies and complex technical environments
  • Works well both in a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to effectively prioritize and multitask
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Engineering or related field
  • MCSE or equivalent
