ROLE: SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (DBA)

REQUIRED:

  • Active Public Trust
  • Core Support Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM EST
  • Location: Remote (Candidates must be available during normal IRS business hours and may be required to participate in government meetings, onboarding activies, security processing, transition activities, or occasional travel as directed by the government.
  • Federal civilian agency experience • IRS or Treasury experience preferred • Experience supporting mission-critical production applications • Experience operating in FISMA-regulated environments • Experience with Agile, SDLC, and application lifecycle management processes • Experience supporting production deployments and application maintenance • Experience supporting application modernization and migration efforts • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Provides system administration support for application hosting environments, infrastructure operations, monitoring, patching, and security compliance.

    • Administer Windows-based hosting environments • Support IIS application servers • Monitor system performance and availability • Coordinate security patch implementation • Support application deployments • Support configuration management activities • Assist with infrastructure modernization

**Primary Technologies: Microsoft, .NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL, Server Enterprise, IIS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, HTML/XML, Windows Server, SharePoint, FISMA/NIST Compliance Frameworks.

**Highly Desired Tools and Technologies: Rational Quality Manager, ALM Quality Center, MicroFocus Quality Center (QC), StarTeam, IBM DOORS, LoadRunner, SharePoint Process Asset Libraries (PAL), Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM), FISMA, Configuration Management Plans (CMP).


DESCRIPTION:

Constellation West is a 29-year WOSB and Prime Federal Contractor bidding on IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) Management Information System Support Services (MISSS)
 
Qualified incumbent personnel currently supporting this mission will be afforded Right of First Refusal (ROFR) for applicable positions, consistent with contract requirements and contingent upon continued eligibility, performance, and government approval.
