Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you’ve come to the right place!

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.

We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and validation of electrical systems and subsystems for cutting-edge products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust, high-performance electrical solutions, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components. This role requires expertise in both analog and digital electronics, with a strong understanding of systems-level design and integration.

We are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge communication systems, revolutionizing connectivity in space and on Earth. Our mission is to deliver highperformance, scalable, and flexible solutions for the most challenging communication environments.

What you will be doing:

  • You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design system-level solutions, including the integration of SoCs, schematic and layout evaluations, manufacturing support, production testing, system validation, and troubleshooting. A critical aspect of the role will be ensuring that all designs are suitable for small form factor applications.
  • Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and subsystems, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems into products
  • Perform schematic design, PCB layout review, and ensure the electrical systems meet required performance, power, and size constraints.
  • Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and performance testing to ensure the functionality of electrical systems.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to select components, ensuring compatibility with design specifications

What you bring to this role:

  •  BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system-level design and integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of mixed-signal components such as PMICs, amplifiers, codecs, sensors, op-amps, ADCs, DACs, memory, charging circuits, and experience with integrating SoCs into designs and adding peripherals
  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal design principles, including noise, linearity, and signal integrity
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, PCI-e etc.
  • Familiarity with integrating designs into small form factor products, ensuring functionality within space and power constraints
  • Familiarity with low-power electronics, sensor interface circuits, and SoC integration
  • Experience with prototyping, debugging, and characterizing mixed-signal hardware
  •

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office.  The target base pay for this position is $110,000 - $200,000 annually.  The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.

E-Space is not currently able to provide employment sponsorship for candidates who do not hold work authorization for the location of this role.
