Build and implement the Based Appchain Framework using Go or Rust. Contribute to system and product design discussions, ship engineering projects to production, and represent the company at events, conferences, or podcasts. The role involves working with Ethereum, EVM-based systems, and potentially rollups, shared sequencing, zero-knowledge, and data availability technologies.
This is a remote position.
The employer is a Based Appchain framework on Ethereum enabling people to spin up app-specific L2s that are composable with Ethereum mainnet and other app chains.
They are opening an System Engineer role (Remote EU) on a permanent basis.
As the System Engineer, you will build systems of Based Appchain Framework with team.
MISSIONS :
- Implement of the Based Stack system in Go/Rust.
- Contribute to product design discussions.
- Participate and talk in an event, conference or podcast.
Profil
- Proficiency with Go/Rust (preference for Go).
- Solid understanding of EVM.
- Experience shipping and taking engineering projects to production.
Nice to have
- A deep understanding of rollups.
- Strong knowledge of shared sequencing.
- Understanding of ZK and DA.

Contract : Permanent
Location : Remote / Any Timezone / or ideally San Francisco
Salary : 150 to 220k USD (including equity package)
