We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join the cloud and data center infrastructure team with at least 5 years of systems development, deployment, and related operations experience. The candidate must have experience with distributed systems, open source development, agile development methods, CI/CD, and devops
Job Description• Must have experience in one or more of the following subject areas:
o Virtualization and virtualization management (Openstack, etc)
o Cloud storage systems (block and object)
o Networking and SDN
o Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
o Security and AAA in a private cloud
o Data pipelines and analytics, log collection and analysis
• Must have extensive experience and excellent expertise in Linux-based high-performance, highly-available systems development.
• Must have excellent written and communication skills and capable of writing and delivering both presentations and technical papers.
• Practical experience contributing to an open source project.
• Practical design, development and deployment experience with evolving existing designs towards large scale deployments.
• Working knowledge of commonly used tools and frameworks utilized by the open source community.
• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is desired.
• Practical experience with the Go programming language is desired.
• Practical experience building systems on a public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCE, etc.) is desired.
• Practical experience building public cloud infrastructure is highly desired
Qualifications• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is desired.
