Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) has an excellent opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Internship from June 15, 2026 to August 7, 2026, working Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) at our Lake Forest, CA headquarters. The internship will include a team building/volunteering event over 3 different evenings within the program.

Summary: 

The GTSE Software QA Intern position is a temporary entry level role which will be involved in daily projects and activities associated with SW QA processes, systems and controls and will learn departmental operations at TABS under close guidance and support. This role will provide a hands-on learning opportunity in software QA testing. Under immediate supervision, the Intern shall complete a variety of routine tasks in support of the goals and needs of the Department. This is a temporary position (Approximately 8 weeks).

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely under the guidance of Department Management and staff to provide entry level SW QA support including but not limited to entry level departmental tasks as indicated below:
    • Daily departmental support for SW QA
    • Software test automation
    • Debug Software Products
    • Maintain Test Documentation
  • Learn about departmental processes and procedures along with corresponding controls. Under management guidance supports entry level activities.
  • Work closely with management or more senior staff to learn how to generate and review departmental reporting (scheduled and ad-hoc).
  • Assist with special projects as instructed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Sophomore, junior, or senior level undergraduate student, or graduate student, attending an accredited college in good standing or recent graduate (within six months) of an accredited college.
  • Must be pursuing a Computer Science, or a closely related major.
  • Must have completed introductory computer science courses and have a basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies
  • Must have basic knowledge of coding languages.
  • May have exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology, SQL, or automated test execution.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including exposure to Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint)\
  • Must have effective communication skills with ability to work well in Team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and prioritize assignments.
  • Must be a Team player, and motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on new challenges.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated initiative
