This role is built for a strategic recruiting partner who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments where sales performance, brand strength, and customer experience drive business success.

You will collaborate closely with leaders across BSN SPORTS and Varsity Spirit to recruit talent for commercial, sales, customer service, and marketing functions—from high-volume frontline roles to specialized professional and leadership positions.

This is a chance to shape the commercial talent landscape of Varsity Brands—guiding leaders with market intelligence, elevating hiring strategies, and ensuring that every hire strengthens growth, customer impact, performance, and culture.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Strategic Talent Partnership (Commercial Focus)

• Act as the primary recruiting advisor to hiring managers and business leaders across BSN SPORTS and Varsity Spirit, aligning role requirements, success profiles, and hiring strategies with commercial priorities.
• Translate evolving business priorities—including territory expansion, sales capacity, customer experience, brand growth, digital commerce, and seasonal demand—into actionable hiring strategies.
• Use talent market insights to influence workforce planning, role design, location strategy, and competitive decision-making.

End-to-End Commercial Talent Acquisition

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for field and inside sales, account management, sales leadership, business development, customer service and customer experience, and brand, digital, performance, product, communications, and e-commerce marketing roles.
• Build scalable talent pipelines for high-volume, geographically dispersed, seasonal, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles.
• Provide a world-class candidate experience tailored to commercial and customer-facing talent, balancing speed, transparency, consistency, and rigor.

Advanced Commercial Sourcing & Market Mapping

• Provide role-specific recruiting instructions and ongoing calibration to Talent Specialists and Sourcers supporting each search, including target profiles, sourcing priorities, and screening criteria.
• Build innovative sourcing strategies to reach passive sales, customer experience, and marketing talent across B2B, consumer, sports, apparel, retail, and service industries.
• Conduct market mapping around competitors, territories, customer service hubs, sales channels, marketing specialties, and talent availability.
• Leverage LinkedIn, professional associations, industry events, referral networks, community partnerships, and AI-driven sourcing tools to access inclusive and diverse talent.

Consultative Recruiting Excellence

• Guide leaders on structured interviews, job-relevant assessments, scorecards, hiring calibration, and success profiles tied to commercial outcomes.
• Promote equitable evaluation methodologies that reduce bias and improve predictive accuracy.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent, transparent hiring processes across BSN SPORTS and Varsity Spirit.

Operational & Data Rigor

• Use Workday and other ATS/CRM tools to manage commercial pipelines, deliver analytics, and track KPI performance, including time-to-fill, pipeline quality, conversion rates, and hiring volume.
• Continuously refine recruiting workflows for sales, customer service, and marketing roles to improve efficiency, throughput, and support for seasonal and high-volume hiring.
• Champion documentation quality, compliance, risk awareness, and repeatable recruiting practices across commercial hiring.

• Partner with HRBP to forecast staffing needs using attrition metrics, workforce planning strategies, and shifting staffing priorities.

Tools & Technology

• Use AI-powered sourcing and talent intelligence tools to anticipate commercial hiring needs and build proactive pipelines.
• Use automation and personalization to tailor outreach for sales, customer service, and marketing candidates.
• Apply market data and benchmarks to advise leaders on compensation, talent availability, and competitive dynamics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven ability to recruit for commercial, field and inside sales, customer service and customer experience, and marketing roles across multiple levels and geographies.
• Strong capability in passive sourcing, Boolean search, talent mapping, competitive intelligence, and pipeline development for high-volume and specialized roles.
• Understanding of commercial success profiles, including quota attainment, territory development, customer retention, service quality, brand impact, and campaign performance.
• Skilled in advising and influencing hiring managers, commercial executives, and people leaders through data, market intelligence, and consultative recommendations.
• Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms, recruiting analytics, and modern AI and talent intelligence tools, including Copilot and ChatGPT.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with adaptability to frontline, professional, and executive audiences.

Education, Certifications & Experience

• 6-8+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience with significant focus on commercial, sales, customer service or customer experience, marketing, or related customer-facing functions.
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-location organizations with field-based, high-volume, seasonal, or geographically dispersed hiring needs.
• Bachelor's in HR, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Experience developing long-term talent strategies aligned with sales growth, customer experience, brand expansion, and evolving workforce needs.
