Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our hiring strategy and help build a high-performing team in a fast-growing startup environment. This is not a traditional recruiter role. You will own end-to-end talent acquisition with a strong focus on leadership hiring and raising talent density across the company — not just filling open roles, but bringing in people who raise the bar. You will work closely with the CEO, HR Head, and department leaders to define hiring standards, assess leadership potential, and build scalable hiring processes.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for leadership and key roles (from sourcing to offer)
- Lead hiring for managers, directors, and critical functional leaders
- Partner with CEO and hiring managers to define role expectations and hiring bar
- Build structured interview processes, scorecards, and hiring frameworks
- Evaluate candidates beyond resumes: learning speed, ownership, execution, and leadership potential
- Track post-hire outcomes (30/60/90 days) and continuously improve hiring quality
- Develop talent pipelines for future leadership needs
- Coach hiring managers on interviewing and decision-making
- Help design scalable hiring processes for a rapidly growing organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
- 5+ year recruiting experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
- Proven experience hiring leadership roles (Managers / Directors / Heads or equivalent)
- Hands-on ownership of end-to-end recruiting (not just coordination)
- Strong talent judgment — able to say no to average candidates under pressure
- Deep involvement in post-hire success tracking and hiring feedback loops
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and move fast without perfect information
Strongly Preferred
- Experience building hiring processes from scratch
- Background in scaling teams during rapid growth
- Strong partnership mindset with founders and senior leaders
- Track record of improving hiring quality over time
What Success Looks Like
- Strong leaders join and perform
- Hiring bar rises continuously
- Hiring managers trust your judgment
- New hires outperform team average
- Clear insight into who succeeds, who fails, and why
- Resume screening only
- Transactional recruiting
- Volume-driven hiring
- Following process without judgment
- Direct impact on company trajectory through talent
- Close partnership with leadership team
- Opportunity to build the hiring function from the ground up
- High ownership, high visibility, real influence
