Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY
This position reviews resumes, conducts phone screens and interviews, administers assessments, and presents candidates to hiring managers and functions. This position sources candidates and ensures requisitions are promptly filled. This position monitors employment processes to ensure legal compliance and actively seeks out process improvement opportunities. This position sources and recruits candidates using a variety of outlets (e.g., job postings, social media, etc.). This position develops relationships with prospective talent, creating and managing talent pipelines for current and future employment opportunities. This position maintains active involvement with professional organizations and local colleges to represent UPS and develop talent pipelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Travels and maintains relationships with key stakeholders (counselors, students, administration, & parents) at high schools, universities, government officials and community organizations to recruit applicants to meet staffing plans for hourly & professional hires
• Maintains specific education programs (e.g., Metro College, UPS LOOP, International Community Job Program, and School to Work) including analyzing the dollars spent, auditing records, and producing reports for reimbursement to schools, UPS, and government entities.
• Determines and manages program student eligibility for each program.
• Ensures operational compliance with local legislature.
• Prepares and performs live recording with news media and advertising partners in radio and TV to tout our programs.
• Performs all aspects of hiring an applicant, including Fingerprinting, STA, USPS applications, CHRC paperwork, PRIA, and I-9 verification to ensure compliance with airport regulations.
• Develops and maintains recruiting initiatives to drive flow of candidates

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $27.25/hr to $44.25/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. The company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
