The Talent Development Partner is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning experiences that strengthen employee capability, support leadership skill development, and ensure a consistent and effective onboarding experience across Delta Dental. As an individual contributor, this role builds high-quality instructional content, facilitates live and virtual learning, partners with subject matter experts, and supports continuous improvement of talent development programs. The Talent Development Partner plays a key role in ensuring employees have the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to succeed from onboarding through early career growth.
Responsibilities- Designs and develops instructor-led, virtual, and digital learning materials using established instructional design standards
- Facilitates live and virtual training sessions for onboarding, professional skills, and foundational leadership programs
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to gather content and validate accuracy
- Updates and maintains training materials based on process changes, policy updates, and learner feedback
- Supports delivery and continuous improvement of onboarding and early-career development programs
- Coordinates training logistics including scheduling, materials, communications, and learner tracking
- Collects and analyzes learner feedback and assessment data to identify improvement opportunities
- Uses learning platforms to assign learning, track completion, and maintain accurate records
- Supports cross-functional talent development initiatives as assigned
- 2+ w/Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in training delivery, instructional design, or talent development.
- Experience developing blended learning or digital assets (e.g., Storyline, Rise, Camtasia).
- Experience supporting onboarding or career development programs. Experience in fast paced or customer facing environments a plus.
- Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design principles
- Ability to create clear, engaging, and instructionally sound content
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs, HR partners, and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with virtual delivery platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with learning measurement and evaluation methods
- Strong facilitation skills in both ILT and VILT
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
