Resend is growing fast, with over 1 million developers now using the platform. We're looking for an expert in Talent Experience to help us source and hire bar-raising team members as we build Resend for scale. As our first dedicated recruiting hire, you will own the full-cycle recruiting process, cultivate a standout talent brand and community, and create a positive, memorable candidate experience.

You will work closely with our Chief of Staff, Founders, and team to continuously improve our talent strategy and efficiency.

This role is fully remote based in UTC-8 to UTC0 timezones, with some expected travel for team offsites, conferences, meetups, and more.

In this role, you will…
  • Orchestrate the full-cycle recruiting process from applications to screens to offers

  • Build and source a talent community strategy that proactively attracts high-caliber talent to our hiring pipelines

  • Continuously improve recruiting infrastructure, including scoring rubrics, interview plans, and communication systems

  • Increase talent brand awareness through social media channels, team engagement, and community events

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in technical recruiting or developer experience roles

  • Actively engage with and understand engineering culture and developer communities

  • Bring unique and creative sourcing strategies tailored to each role

  • Care deeply about candidate experience for every person who interacts with our brand

  • Are fluent in written and spoken English
