The Talent Management Lead designs and improves talent programs, manages performance cycles, oversees workforce planning, and maintains compensation structures to enhance employee performance and growth.
The Talent Management Manager is responsible for designing, running, and improving talent programs that maximize the performance and growth of current employees. This role reports directly to the Director of People & Culture and partners closely with the HR Manager for operational alignment.
Responsibilities
- Performance & Talent Programs:
- Own the performance management cycle, including timelines, tools, and calibration sessions
- Design and maintain succession planning frameworks, identifying high-potential talent and flight risks
- Build and maintain career paths, leveling guides, and competency frameworks
- Select and manage training and development vendors
- Design and coordinate leadership and manager development programs
- Oversee delivery and tracking of required training (program ownership, not compliance policy)
- Track and analyze headcount and talent trends
- Partner with Finance on workforce planning inputs and assumptions
- Manage hiring approval workflows to ensure alignment with workforce plans
- Own compensation philosophy, structure, and frameworks
- Maintain salary bands and leveling alignment

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in talent management, organizational development, or related HR functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience designing and implementing talent strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with a focus on execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to use data to inform strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in talent management or organizational development (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CPTD, or similar).
- Familiarity with talent management software and HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of Radford leveling and compensation frameworks.
