Active CTEC Registration & PTIN Required | Business Tax Experience Required

Are you an experienced Tax Preparer who can confidently manage everything from straightforward W-2 filings to complex business returns and amendments?

Guardian Tax is seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional with expertise in individual and business tax preparation. This is a full-time, permanent position — not seasonal.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Preparing individual tax returns (W-2, 1099, Schedule C, itemized, etc.)
  • Handling amended returns (1040X and related corrections)
  • Preparing business tax returns including:
    • S-Corps (1120S)
    • C-Corps (1120)
    • Partnerships (1065)
  • Reviewing financials and ensuring accuracy & compliance
  • Communicating with clients regarding documentation and tax positions
  • Working collaboratively with our internal teams 
Compensation & Monthly Bonus Potential

We believe experienced tax professionals should be rewarded for their expertise and performance.

  • $26–$30 per hour total earning potential, including performance bonuses and daily spiffs 
  • Monthly performance bonuses typically ranging from $500–$700
  • Consistent, full-time, year-round employment — this is not a seasonal tax position
  • Opportunity to increase your earnings through strong performance, accuracy, and productivity

Qualifications
  • Active California CTEC Registration
  • Valid PTIN
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience preparing business tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of federal and California tax laws
  • Experience handling amended and complex tax filings
  • Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
