About the Position:
As a Tech Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our technology company. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new leads for our sales team. Your primary goal will be to identify potential customers and nurture them into qualified opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute lead-generation campaigns and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach, to identify potential customers.Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria, ensuring they meet the company's target market and have a genuine need for our technology solutions
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, track all prospecting activities, and update the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information.Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, challenges, and business objectives, and effectively communicate the value of our technology solutions
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement lead-generation campaigns and strategies
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams based on prospect and customer interactions to help improve messaging and product offerings
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and opportunity creation

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the technology industry
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with prospects through various channels, including phone, email, and social media
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential customers
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong desire to succeed in a sales role
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales and marketing tools
  • Knowledge of the technology industry, including emerging trends and key players
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and market conditions
