Company Description

Certain, Inc. is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, team-oriented Technical Consultant, to play a strategic role in the configuration of our platform for customers’ events. 

This position will be dedicated to supporting our new customer Implementation Managers by configuring full and partial event builds in the Certain Event Management SaaS platform. The configurations will be based on predefined custom workflows and set to customer specific critical timelines.

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

● Assists internal business stakeholders with definition of functional requirements and maps them to application capabilities to achieve optimal functional and technical design

● Develops, configures and implements functionality that conforms to customer requirements and design specifications

● Develops and maintains high-level of technical mastery on Certain platform and keeps up to date on the application releases and patches

● Documents work in clear and effective manner

● Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Certain through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values

● Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with professional service expectations

● Capture and provide input to Product Management for product enhancements

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:

● Thrives in a start-up environment

● Very organized; ability to self-direct, multi-task, prioritize projects/deliverables, and ad hearing to deliverable deadlines

● Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MS Office®

● General understanding and exposure to API integrations and web services

● Experience with Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop, Fireworks or Paint Shop Pro

● Has experience with SaaS solutions configuration

● Passionate about learning new technologies

● Creative and capable of deriving the best possible configuration solutions for a given requirement

● Passionate about helping Certain and its customers be successful

● Excellent customer satisfaction skills and a positive attitude 

● Excellent written and oral communication skills 

Background and Experience:

● Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, IS, IT or similar technology field

● 1-2 years experience with SaaS application configuration in CRM, Marketing Automation or events
