Objective

To support the development of high-quality, insight-driven content by transforming research, product insights, and internal materials into engaging blog articles and scalable content series. This writer will balance speed, creativity, and strategic thinking while leveraging AI tools to enhance—rather than replace—editorial judgment and brand voice.

Profile Overview

The client is seeking a versatile B2B content writer who can translate research and product insights into compelling, voice-driven blog content and short- to mid-form assets. This role is ideal for a writer who thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt content across formats—from blog series to occasional long-form pieces—depending on evolving team needs.

The ideal candidate brings a strong editorial voice, a proactive mindset, and experience working with AI-assisted writing workflows. They are comfortable using AI tools (including client-trained GPT systems) to accelerate output, while confidently refining, challenging, and elevating that output to ensure clarity, originality, and alignment with brand voice.

This writer should be equally comfortable breaking down complex ideas into accessible narratives and contributing to a cohesive, engaging content experience across channels.

Scope
  • Commitment: ~25 hours/month
  • Cadence: Flexible, based on business needs
  • Primary: Blog articles and content series (e.g., breaking down research reports into multiple posts)
  • Secondary: Occasional long-form assets (e.g., reports, guides)
  • Engagement Type: 6 months to start
  • Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
  • Transform research reports and internal materials into structured blog series and engaging articles
  • Write clear, compelling, and voice-driven blog content aligned with the client’s brand tone
  • Adapt content across formats depending on project needs (blog, article, long-form)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback efficiently
  • Leverage AI tools (including brand GPT) to accelerate drafting while maintaining originality and quality
  • Refine and optimize AI-generated content to ensure it meets editorial standards and avoids generic output
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of voice, tone, and narrative flow across all deliverables
  • Identify gaps in briefs or source materials and proactively ask clarifying questions
  • Deliver clean, well-structured drafts that require minimal revision
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience writing B2B content, particularly blog posts and article-style content
  • Strong portfolio of recent blog/article samples (required)
  • Ability to translate complex or technical topics into engaging, accessible narratives
  • Demonstrated ability to write with a clear, confident, and non-generic voice
  • Experience working with AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Claude, or similar)
  • Ability to critically evaluate and improve AI-generated content, not just produce it
  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
  • Experience in SaaS, martech, or related industries is a plus, but not required
About the Client

The client is a cross-channel marketing platform that empowers growth marketers to create, execute, and optimize campaigns across email, push, SMS, in-app, and more. Their focus is on clarity, trust, and value-driven communication for technical decision-makers navigating complex martech ecosystems.
