Serve as the primary technical contact for partner integrations: review partner docs (including MISMO), map data, advise product managers, coordinate testing-to-launch certification, troubleshoot integrations, and support the implementations team to ensure smooth partner and customer integrations.

What we're doing:

Owning a home is a foundational part of building financial security and wealth in America. Yet the tools and technology supporting homeownership are antiquated, relying on fax machines, handwritten documentation, and hours of manual review.

We're here to change that.

Vesta is the next-generation system of record powering the multi-trillion dollar mortgage market. We believe the industry is overdue for a core transformation: lenders need a system of record that is modern, open, and orchestrated by best-in-class software workflows to achieve fully automated processes and truly digital customer journeys.

Who we are:

Our founding team knows the complexities of the financial industry firsthand. As early employees at Blend, they spent years building modern cloud infrastructure for banks. Now at Vesta, they're transforming the mortgage industry with the most flexible, open, and automated origination experience available, benefiting financial institutions and their customers.

And we're not alone.

We've raised $55M from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Bain Capital Ventures, Conversion Capital, Zigg Capital, and Index Ventures.

We believe our team is our greatest competitive advantage and take pride in building a team of exceptional people. We value humility, empathy, self-awareness, and a bias toward action. If this resonates and you're excited by the opportunity to help build the infrastructure powering the future of finance, we'd love to hear from you.

Who you are:

You've worked on the integration or technical side at a mortgage technology company, and you understand how these systems are built, where they break, and what it takes to get two of them talking to each other. You're a fast, resourceful problem-solver who can look at a new partner's technology, quickly assess what an integration would take, and spot the risks before they become real problems. You're always looking for ways technology, including AI, can make that work faster and better.

You're someone both partners and colleagues trust. Partners see you as the person on Vesta's side who gets it and gets things done, and you build long-term relationships rather than transactional ones. You're just as valued internally, where the implementations team brings you in to help troubleshoot when a customer runs into issues with a new integration, and you work with partners to make that experience as seamless as possible.

About the role:

As the first Technical Integration Specialist on the Partnerships team, you'll

  • Be the go-to technical contact for the partnerships team, joining meetings alongside partnerships managers, answering technical questions, and leading demos of completed integrations.

  • Be the first to review a partner's technical documentation, comparing how their systems handle data (including MISMO fields) to how Vesta does, and giving the product manager a clear summary of what's involved and where the gaps are.

  • Support the product manager who owns what gets built, giving them the context they need, triaging questions with the partners, and advocating for our view on how integrations should work to provide the best customer experience.

  • Guide integrations from testing through launch, coordinating the steps needed to get partner integrations certified, helping troubleshoot when something breaks, and keeping an eye on maintenance and enhancement requests.

  • Be a trusted resource for the implementations team when customers are getting new integrations added and set up, helping troubleshoot any issues the customer runs into and working with the partner to make using the integration as seamless as possible.

Benefits and Perks:

  • Robust medical, vision, and dental coverage (approximately 100% of employee premiums covered)

  • 401(k) plan

  • 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all new parents, birthing and non-birthing (including adoptions)

  • Remote-first culture with hubs in the Bay Area and New York

  • Generous work-from-anywhere and wellness benefits

  • Monthly DoorDash credits

  • Open and encouraged flexible time off

  • Company offsites to connect with the team

Our cash compensation for this role is targeted at $120,000 - $140,000. Final offer amounts depend on candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

At Vesta, we believe the only way to tackle the challenging problems in front of us is through diverse perspectives and an inclusive environment. We're committed to equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, parental or pregnancy status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. As part of our onboarding process, we participate in the E-Verify program.
