As part of the Technical Learning University (TLU) and Automotive Manufacturing Electrical College (AMEC) team, you will deliver advanced electrical and robotics training that supports GM's strategic priorities and drives operational excellence.
This role is critical to upskilling our manufacturing workforce and closing knowledge gaps as vehicle technology becomes increasingly complex. You will empower employees at all levels to master current and future technical architectures with precision and confidence, ensuring flawless execution of sophisticated features while maintaining GM's commitment to safety and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training using GM's established learning methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Instruct on electrical manufacturing processes, robotics, strategy-based diagnostics, and emerging technologies.
- Incorporate new vehicle wiring, module, communications, and propulsion technologies into training programs.
- Manage classroom and online learning environments, including setup, materials, and media.
- Collaborate with Learning Coordinators to schedule sessions and optimize attendance.
- Partner with Instructional Design teams to create and update content using learning analytics.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment while adapting to schedule changes.
- Conduct plant and supplier visits to enhance understanding and gather feedback.
- Crosstrain on additional course content to effectively deliver learning and material that is outside your field of expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of experience facilitating and coaching technical and non-technical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an engaging instructional style.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules.
- Willingness to travel 10-20% for on-site training and curriculum development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing instruction, particularly in electrical systems and/or robotics.
- Familiarity with a Global Electrical Support team's role in manufacturing, engineering, and customer support.
- Certifications such as Siemens Certified Trainer, Siemens Certified Professional, and/or Industrial Safety Certification.
- Additional industry-recognized automation or CNC credentials (ISA, IEC standards).
