About The Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Operations Manager to automate processes, deploy AI into day-to-day workflows, and build the systems that make our operations scale. You’ll work horizontally across our enterprise suite—spanning multiple products, teams, and customer segments—to unify data models, standardize processes, and create reusable building blocks that scale company-wide. You’ll roll up your sleeves on ambiguous, high-impact problems, turn messy data into reliable pipelines, and own the metrics that move both revenue and profitability.

What You'll Do:
  • Build & automate: Design reliable, scalable workflows (SQL-backed, API-driven, Retool-powered) that eliminate manual work and materially improve velocity, quality, and cost.

  • Ship AI into ops: Identify high-leverage use cases (triage, routing, QA, forecasting, SOP generation) and implement practical AI tools that measurably improve outcomes.

  • Own the numbers: Define, track, and improve core operational KPIs (productivity, quality, scalability). Your success is measured by moving metrics—not meeting hours.

  • Systemize complexity: Stand up data models, dashboards, and processes that turn ambiguity into repeatable, auditable operations.

  • Cross-functional Partnership: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Account Management to scope requirements, align on SLAs, and deliver durable solutions.

  • Program management: Drive projects end-to-end—requirements, design, build, launch, iterate—ensuring on-time delivery and measurable impact.

What You Have
  • 2–5 years in technical ops, data/analytics, software, consulting, or similar in a fast-paced SaaS/tech environment.

  • Technical fluency: Strong SQL (joins, windows, CTEs, performance basics); experience with Retool or similar internal tooling; comfort with APIs and basic web scraping.

  • AI in practice: You know how to evaluate and deploy AI/LLM tools to real workflows (prompting, guardrails, basic evals), not just in theory.

  • Systems thinking: Ability to translate business problems into data models, pipelines, and lightweight services that scale.

  • Execution & ownership: Track record of driving projects from idea → shipped → adopted → measured impact.

  • Communication: Clear, structured writing and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical partners.

  • Bias to action: Comfortable in ambiguity, excellent at prioritization, and proactive about unblocking teams.

Commure is committed to creating and fostering a diverse team. We are open to all backgrounds and levels of experience, and believe that great people can always find a place. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to all applicants throughout the application process.
