The Opportunity
As part of PwC's Scaled Engineering Services practice, you will contribute to delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions that enable operational excellence and business agility. Our teams apply deep technical expertise and a strong service-oriented mindset to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade IT systems and applications. In this capacity, you will help lead and coordinate end-to-end execution of technology initiatives-driving disciplined project planning, proactive stakeholder communication, and consistent service delivery across cross-functional engineering teams.
As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving software and product innovation within our Advisory practice. You will be at the forefront of software engineering, working closely with engagement teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements. As an Associate, you will focus on contributing to engagement team engagements, honing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to engagement teams, building meaningful connections, managing projects, and inspiring others while growing your personal brand.
In this role, you will engage in the software development processes, from project planning to execution,to create cutting-edge applications. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and frameworks, enhancing your technical acumen. Within our Advisory practice, you will collaborate with a dynamic team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that meet engagement team needs. This position offers a unique chance to grow in a fast-paced environment, where adaptability and teamwork are key to success.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features aligned to business and engagement team needs.

  • Gather and participate in business requirements analysis, data-driven decision making, and business process improvement.

  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver against deadlines.

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect scope, timeline, and quality.

  • Support translation of business requirements into clear product and technical specifications.

  • Contribute to the product lifecycle from concept through deployment using established software development methodologies.

  • Support project planning activities, including work estimation and tracking against timelines.

  • Apply continuous integration and delivery practices to support efficient development and deployment.

  • Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to inform ongoing product improvements

  • Implement continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline deployment and release management.

  • Work with engineers to troubleshoot and debug software issues to improve system performance and reliability.

What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Engineering Product Management for each missing year of college is required
- At least 4 year of experience
What Sets You Apart
  • Proficiency in software development and project management methodologies, along with having completed PMP and/or CSM certifications.

  • Working knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL, and C++) to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.

  • Understanding of API management and microservices architecture to support scalable, integrated product solutions.

  • Adaptability and resilience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

The salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $90,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
